Try this chicken marsala recipe from Once Upon a Chef. Chicken marsala is one of my favorite dishes but I honestly never feel like I make the same version twice. This one has a bit of a creamy marsala sauce, which adds some warmth and depth to it. It was a fairly simple recipe and definitely delicious. We paired it with mashed potatoes and some steamed broccoli.

I love music and I am a sucker for a sad love story. "Love is a Mix Tape: Life and Loss, One Song at a Time" by Rob Sheffield is a memoir that checks both of those boxes. He tells how he met Renee, they both became music journalists and they fell in love. After they were married just five years, she died suddenly. What makes his storytelling unique, though, is how it is told through the mix tapes they both compiled over the years. As someone who simply cannot throw away those old tapes and CDs (due to alllll the memories), I was captivated by the way he told his story of love and loss through music.

If you have a hard time with proper form when trying to do squats, you're not alone. These funky ramp-like squat wedges do make a difference. By lifting your heels, they help correct inflexibility in your ankles, knees and hips, leading you to punish your lower back less. Needless to say, doing squats with proper form leaves your body feeling significantly different across the board than doing them with poor form.

If you're in need of a laugh, check out Jimmy O. Yang's standup special "Good Deal." He was one of my favorite characters on Silicon Valley (also great if you need a laugh) and in the Netflix movie "Love Hard." Warning: it's definitely not rated PG but it's not completely inappropriate all throughout. (Just a warning if you don't know what to expect). I will say, his anecdotes about his parents are completely hilarious.
