Having trouble finding the perfect gift for someone? Check out Uncommon Goods' gift finder. If you're not familiar with Uncommon Goods, they sell gifts of all kinds from makers around the world. The item selection varies depending on season, holidays and what new creators have to offer. While I often enjoy looking through the site to see what new items are available, their gift finder allows you to input general information about your recipient and then hone in on their personal likes, dislikes and interests. Once it starts to suggest items, you can offer feedback, which will continue to produce better results. And, for those who are a bit forgetful, you can ask it to remind you about upcoming birthdays, anniversaries and other important occasions.
A mascara that doesn't flake or smudge! It's tartelette ™ tubing mascara by tarte. I'm a pretty big fan of most products by tarte, as they don't use a lot of unnecessary chemicals and use many natural ingredients. While the link I provided above does go to Sephora (which is where I bought it), there is a very cool feature to check out on tarte's website: a virtual try on. From the comfort of your own home, you can see what a shade, color or product will likely look on your face. Definitely worth trying out for fun!
Love recipes that don't have too many ingredients? Skinnytaste, which I've previously called out as a household favorite, just released Skinnytaste Simple. Each recipe, whether it's breakfast, dinner or dessert, only contains seven or fewer ingredients. We picked it up at Costco and can already tell we'll be using it often.
I live for luxe-feeling loungewear. If you do too, you need to try out Vuori's DreamKnit™ collection. I bought my first pair from REI awhile back and have since added more performance joggers and zip up hoodies to my closet. (Fun fact: I also got my mom hooked on them and now, when she touches any other fabric, her immediate reaction is, "It's not as soft as my Vuori pants!") In addition to being endlessly soft, they are great for both workouts and everyday wear. And one last thing to check out: it's apparently AMEX Member Week and I received a targeted offer for $30 back if I spent $100 on Vuori. If you have an AMEX, look on the app for the deal this week.
Need a new flavor of sparkling water? I'm hooked on Spindrift's Nojito, which is just like it sounds - a mojito without the alcohol. The lime/mint combo is super refreshing. We've found it at Target but it may be available in your grocery store, too.
That's everything I've got for this week. Again, if you enjoy this newsletter, please subscribe or share with a friend. Hope you have a great week ahead.
