Meet me in the middle. Ever find yourself trying to make plans with a friend and you're both trying (rather unsuccessfully) to identify a restaurant/coffee shop/movie theatre in the middle? Enter Meetways. You type in both addresses and the type of place you want to go to. It offers up suggestions, alongside a map. The listings link to Yelp (in case you want to see reviews) and you can even customize your method of transportation.

If you like crosswords, Apple News+ is now offering a daily online 15 X 15 puzzle. Like the NYT puzzles, they get more difficult as the week progresses. However, they claim to use fewer arcane references, which is helpful if you are newer to crosswords. Also, they are convenient on either an iPhone or iPad (no pencil needed!) If you don't currently have an Apple News+ subscription, it's also worthwhile for the magazines (especially if you have an iPad). I can't remember the last time I bought a physical magazine but I still love to read them online and it's the ideal immersive solution.

Looking for a delicious fall recipe? Try this Creamy One-Pot Pasta With Sausage and Squash from Epicurious. It combines those warm fall elements like butternut squash, sage and nutmeg with Italian sausage, pasta, heavy cream and cheese ... and best of all? It's a one pot recipe. It's definitely not healthy, but it is quite tasty.

The Breville Sous Chef® 16 Peel & Dice can literally do it all. I'm generally a fan of all things Breville (they make  incredibly sturdy products) and I also hate dicing with a passion. This food processor can peel potatoes, dice vegetables, knead dough, cut french fries, julienne and slice at roughly 20 different thicknesses (among other things!) The only catch is that to dice at different sizes, you need the additional dicing kit. But I promise if you like to cook or bake, these are both worth every penny.
