The Atlanta Streetcar - A Rant, An Explanation

Here's the real deal with the Atlanta Streetcar:

PT 1] The Atlanta Streetcar (ASC) currently runs in the middle of Downtown. Connecting the Centennial Tourism District (CTD) with the Edgewood Entertainment District (EED).

PT 2] Atlanta needs the Streetcar to be accessible to more Citizens. As of today, most Citizens do not live near the Atlanta Streetcar (ASC) to use it.

PT 3] Atlanta needs the Streetcar to connect with more places like West Midtown, Pittsburgh, Lil 5 Points, Ponce City District, Upper Westside, Capitol View, and The Beltline.

PT 4] The ideal is that every Citizen should be able to move through the City safely, quickly, and affordably. Every Citizen should have direct access to The Beltline, Job Centers, and MARTA Stations quickly.

PT 5] Oh and The Beltline should get Rail Transport! The Beltline should have what's called Very Light Rail (VLR). Please note, VLR Technology is different than Streetcar (LRT) Technology. Very Light Rail (VLR) is cheaper and faster to build!

PT 6] We should be focused on connecting both Citizens and Neighborhoods to The Beltline, Job Centers, and MARTA Stations.

P7] Despite the false information being spread, we must understand The Streetcar is a Transport alternative that will indeed weave our City together. If we're serious about reducing car dependency, give people a good reason. Make The Streetcar and BRT easily accessible.
