Should I do sth about it?

From time to time, I will get involved in some sensitive but important topics. Like human rights, press freedom, diversity, or even war, it's so hard nowadays to live without any of those topics in your daily life.

Are they important, yes they are. Shall I do sth about it? Hmmm, maybe. Depends on my value and how much energy I have.

There is an old proverb in China: “you can't expect a clean world without cleaning your room first", in Chinese is 一屋不扫,何以扫天下. Everyone has a lot of problems to deal with in life, I believe one needs to pick battles and do good about it. For me, over past 30 years that is to lift my family out from poverty, so that me and my next generation can live with dignity. It will be generational effort to have a noble person to do sth good for the society.

In my opinion, my energy is limited resources, my value is unique to me, I should not act because of fear of other people's judgment, I act based on my value. i.e. take care of myself first, take care of people I care, do less harm to the environment by live sustainably, empower women to reduce gender gap, and say no to things I do not fully understand.

Each of those are not necessarily a fixed energy distribution, it depends on which stage I am at. Do not take on more than what you can handle just because you want to look good in other person's eyes, it will drag you down. Once you are exhausted, you will not realize your potential to take care of things really matter to you.

That's it. I am ok to not doing anything of the news today, I never understood politics or international relationships, cannot comment, neither want to pretend I understand.

Am I worried, yes, especially I have friends from Ukraine and I am worried about them and their family. When the impact touch things I valued the most where I can contribute, I will.

Peace.
