Today the Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church in America announced its decision  that Matushka Olga Nicholai of Kwethluk, Alaska, be officially numbered among the saints. A date for the official Rite of Glorification is still to be announced.

This decision has been in the works for a long time, and I rejoice to see it come to fruition. Icons of Blessed Olga are already in circulation, as you can see above.
