I’ve been playing around with Dispo. It’s a simple photo app that adds some basic retro filters. The interesting thing is that it doesn’t ‘process’ the photos you take until 9am the next day.
The app recently added a whole social chunk. You can shoot ‘rolls’ as a group and they all get processed the next morning. It’s a simple mechanic but I quite like the idea of a 9am delivery of things my friends have been up to.
That ‘what happened yesterday’ mechanic is something I’ve played around with on my own social network experiments. It feels compelling but respectful. Never had enough people using my experiments to properly evaluate though!
If you fancy giving Dispo’s implementation a go you can join my ‘getting through lockdown’ roll by scanning this QR code after you’ve setup an account.
EDIT: Turns out Dispo is still in an invite-only stage so let me know if you need one.
