I've been clamouring to use HEY World since it was first announced. It adds the constraints that I want to see in blogging. That tracking the amount of people who read (or how long they read for or where they come from etc) is a vanity metric. That you should trust your writing means something by seeking responses to it.

But also that you should protect your audience. Give them the opportunity to get notified of new content on their own terms (subscribe to an RSS feed or receive an email for each new post). Respect the privacy of their inbox and browser by not tracking metadata you have no use for.

HEY World massively limits what I can do on a blogging platform. So instead I write, and invite you to reply. Which you can do by emailing johnb@hey.com!
