I don’t usually share personal matters here, but today I’m choosing transparency.
Over the past year, I’ve been navigating significant health challenges. At the end of last year alone, I underwent three surgeries — each one taking a physical, emotional, and financial toll. I pushed through recovery with resilience, doing my best to manage both my health and responsibilities.
Now, I’m facing another medically necessary surgery connected to my rheumatoid arthritis. While this procedure is important for protecting my long-term mobility and stability, the financial burden — especially after everything from last year — is more than I can manage on my own.
Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs are substantial.
