I came across this really insightful quote from Finding Nemo that I’d like to share with you. It stirred some interesting thoughts. 

It made me think about the many times in my life where I was afraid speak up, even though I knew the answer, walk up to the girl that made eye contact, fearing she might not be interested, or asking for a raise, thinking I might not be worth it, all because I was scared to put myself out there. 

To love and be loved, heartbreak, the loss of a loved one, rejection; all these different emotions make life worth living. In order to get those feelings from others, we need to also give those feelings in return. The way to live a full life is to put ourselves out there.
