Do to feedback from our readership, the team at Hej Y'all™️ would like to apologize and ammend an innacuracy in our previous issue. The author of "Stress, Stockholm, and Snails" stated: "I've realised I'm incredibly fortunate to have been able to take such a big risk and fail." We have since spoken to several reliable sources (including a supportive sister-in-law and emphatic mother) that took issue with the word "fail." We at Hej Y'all™️ deeply apologize for the erroneous use of this word and now recognize that encountering unforseeable adversity does not constitute failure and that in fact it is brave to try things regardless of their outcome. As one reader put it: "It's like you tried to climb Everest and a storm prevented you from reaching the summit."
Hej Y'all,
Sometimes Life's problems seem big...
...or you aren't looking your best...
...and you can't quite escape your own mind.
In these instances it's hard to know what to do next. Give up? Try harder? Try something completely different? Maybe your mind is caught in an endless war between many possible paths and outcomes. Who am I even fighting? Myself? Is it even possible to win if both sides is me?
Against all reason, the answer may actually be to stop reasoning. Stop fighting. Just be.
Go for a walk.
Pet a cat.
See your favorite people.
Pet another cat. Really as many cats you can. Maximum cats. Endless cats.
Get up high and look whistfully into the distance. (I did this in Bergen but it works just as well anywhere vertical. Atop the head of a particularly tall brother perhaps).
Watch Kiki's Delivery Service on a cellphone in a hostel.
Basically, take time. Don't force it.
The magic will come back on it's own.

Thanks for all the encouragement.
