I've been present on the web for a quarter of centuary. But I've never had a personal blog.

It wasn't because I didn't have anything to share.  It was simply because setting up a  blog was just too much of a hassle. Yet another tool, yet another space, yet another subscription, yet another template, etc. Not that I didn't have the skills. I just didn’t have the right tools and the time to juggle the additional workload.

Twitter wasn't a platform for me either. Short-form messages? not my thing.  Post 40 characters, and receive 400 back, which will require additional attention. It's exhausting.  I'd like to share more considered content, in Longer-form.

I've been using Hey for the last couple of years. Among other things, it includes a nice feature to publish blog posts, the easy way.  This post you're reading right now is my first post. And I published it by simply emailing this text directly to world@hey.com from my kaveh@hey.com account.

Now that publishing is as simple as sending an email, I plan on sharing my thoughts from time to time. If you'd like to know when I publish something new, just enter your email address below and you'll get some of my  thoughts sent direct to you.
