The usual hours for office, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, 120 hours per month. But I can't do it.
More like, hours spent appeared to be working for the company. REALLY working? If one clocked 8 hours "at work" for a day, what amount to "really working" is less, way, way less.
Ever since I became a freelancer, broke from my salaried job 4 years ago, I have been diligently recording my working hours. These hours can be paid work, my own startup work, free work, or whatever I am doing with my PC. I have long learned that 4 hours of focused work in a day can consider a productive day already, for me. A few good days I will get 6 hours. Some disrupting days can be sub-1 hour.
For the past three months, I have been focus working on one project only, my paid freelancer work. I just invoice a bill of 120 hours, for 2 months. 120 focused work hours. I only clocked these hours in 2 months time, compare to usual employee in a month.
