1. Oversampling in plugins is better than upping my project sample rate or running brick wall filters to filter out the high frequencies so they don't reflect back downward.
2. A higher project sample rate like going higher than 44.1 kHz, can increase intermodulation distortion and is not effective for anything in the audible range, so it is not valuable to go to the higher sample rates.
3. A bit of aliasing is not that bad and is often inaudible. (I even like it sometimes.)
I think the thing Dan says at the end of his video is spot on - "If it sounds good, it is good."
