If there's one thing I'm not too much of a fan of at Apple 🍎, it's their mice and keyboards...
So, I used to like the Magic Mouse, they mixed a mouse and a trackpad together.
(Well now my mouse is an MX Master, but that's not the point 🖱️)
But, when you use it, you have your hand crushed on the mouse, and over time it creates pain... 😣
What? What do you mean I spend too much time on my computer 💻, I don't know what you're talking about! 😂
Despite that, I was still using an Apple "Magic Keyboard" with numeric keypad at home... ⌨️ But then, a problem appeared! ⚠️
The problem is mobility! 🚶
When I have to move my royal behind to intervene in places that aren't my home... I use my laptop in... portable mode.
And there, in those moments I feel like I no longer know how to use a computer! 😵 Where's the numeric keypad? Why do I feel like the keys aren't in the same place? In short, a disaster! 😤
Then, a few months ago a friend told me about Keychron keyboards, well when I say a "friend", it's the kind of person who doesn't mess around at all with tech. 🤓
So, he knows what he's talking about...
The brand stayed in my head until my last outing with the MacBook Pro, where I was struggling too much and I told myself "I actually need to fix this". 💡
While doing research "On Reddit, because why not?" I read here and there that the Keychron K3 had the same layout as the MacBook Pro, so if I get used to this keyboard at home 🏠, I shouldn't struggle too much on the laptop?
It's now at home, and after a few hours of use, for now I think it's really great ✨, I just removed the numbers from my test passwords in dev... because the numeric keypad is still a great invention, and here I don't have one. 🔢
