AI for factory automation


We need to realize that Tesla is ahead.


Their current FSD for their car is trained on video data in, car control data out.


This network runs on a local computer (their inference hardware) to drive the car.


Now they're doing the same thing to their early version robot (optimus), designed for mass production.


Their robot will understand the world (almost) like a human, just as the car can drive, almost like a human.


Can we expect the same as the introduction of the mobile phone but faster? Developing countries skipped landlinesystems and started with mobile immediately.


This means all the current PLCs, robots, MES, and ERPs remain unchanged.


A humanoid robot will safely operate, most likely trained on video data of humans.


Before we arrive, current language models (LLMs) can help us generate and view code like structured text, ladder logic, etc.


But the human-like robot will win.


If AI can drive safely in a highly changing and uncontrolled environment,


The AI can operate a human robot to perform most functions in a factory [1].


Let’s see a (Tesla*) humanoid robot walk into your factory.
