In this post I conjecture that the XRP price crash of the last 72 hours has been caused by the Xaman Wallet update that hiked XRP fees from 0.000012 XRP to 0.090012, up 75,000%.
Did you really think that you could impose a usury fee structure on top of majestic blockchain technology and not see an immediate market crash after?
Every single XRP holder needs to send a thank you note to Xaman Wallet's development and leadership team for singlehandedly being responsible, as I believe, in the crash of the XRP asset value.
It's earth shattering functionality has been shot dead by a 75,000% by taking 21st century tech and implementing 20th century usury on it.
This post is to apply pressure to the Xaman Team to reverse course and understand the gravity of their decision in the global adoption of XRP as the leading XRP wallet.
I am so passionate about this change in heart from them because truly, I love the Xaman app. It's incredible and very powerful. This fee structure proposed is the worst of the worst from them because their Pro service is such a scam now.
Not only was I a Pro member for only 2 months after I was charged 3 times (each XRP wallet needs to pay for Pro to not be required to buy in-app purchases on each transaction). I have 3 wallets. majestic, xpv and projectapario on BitHomp explorer. All 3 had to get a Pro subscription paid to them, and when Xaman updated their app, they ignored the Pro subscription status (they claimed due to a bug) so they could collect multiple times from me $0.27 transaction fees worth 0.09 XRP at the time.
This is credit card processing fees for businesses level fees here folks... passed directly to you so the Xaman team can literally make Banker level profits off you using the XRP ledger.
This decision by their team, in my humble opinion, was singlehandedly responsible for the crash of XRP because its utility/functionality has been halted in such a dramatic and impactful way to a significant number of users that the market actually responded.
The Xaman team needs to be put in line and in check.
Their services are now actually working against the innovation and mainstream adoption of XRP and I declare in this post that they will be made irrelevant if they do not change course in this decision.
Xaman wallet will be replaced soon and they will become irrelevant in the market because of their greed and their willingness to crash the global XRP market in an effort to become the most greedy of the greedy out there.
