I want to provide feedback and commentary regarding the XNS project on the XRP network.
Before finding out about the XNS project, I thought of the XNS project but never did anything with the idea. DNS is DNS is DNS and it wasn't my cup of tea that I wanted to pursue long-term so I never did. But the name XNS holds a key in my heart and given that key, the performance of the actual XNS product is garbage and I seek to level them up with pressure by means of this post.
The product offering from XNS, the "premier XRP DNS provider", is weak and pathetic to say the least. Nothing irks me more than a beautiful paint job on a defunct piece of tech. Especially when front-end development is my weakest point. Back-end engineering - Larry Ellison calls me when he's setting a new GBU and needs a leader that seeks engineering excellency that can bring their 80% release success rate to 99%, as I did. However, in 2020 Larry wanted to develop mRNA technologies for the STAR GATE program and the company found out that I was the operator of the TS_SCI_MAJIC12 that was telling people the OPPOSITE of the lies they were telling you.
Can you say ###? God's children are not for sale. Anyway, I am a force of nature regardless. I move mountains with my faith. I disclosed the STAR GATE project for the world.... through my faith and my intent while in proximity to the actual power factors in play.
Getting to XNS, lets first wrap the feedback in a compliment sandwich. It's beautiful. It's gorgeous. Your UI design is magical.
Now onto the substance. Incredible interfaces on top of weak and pathetic back-end infrastructures truly irk me. XNS irks me so much that I am spending the time to write this message to send a splash. Hopefully they level up and improve. Otherwise, they will be replaced because truly the tech is weak and pathetic. Do not invest in it as it is. They have missed the mark. You will lose everything. I did. Literally buying multiple domains from them, and the service provided? Literal TRASH WITH an expiration date; thus ultimately nullifying the point of a NON-FUNGIBLE TOKEN (NFT) by making it fungible. This is unethical and it irks me to no end.
They indicate their drive to adopt old-world technologies in new-world era technologies because they wanted to protect brands and businesses by forcing registrations to be annual for XRP rather than issued NFTs.
So XNS will issue you an NFT, but its a blank NFT that doesn't do anything or have anything to it. Instead, that blank NFT links to their service so they can provide the time-expiration service.
Hard pass. That is evil.
You provide NO SERVICE.
Not even DNS!
I bought apario.xrp and phoenixvault.xrp and literally they are "linktree" pages that cost you 5 XRP per year.
That's trash.
Why is it called DNS when its a link tree?
They sell them as domain names.
XRPDomains on the other hand... a legit service that actually is worth the XRP it costs...
XNS thought they would implement a work-around to the NFT to collect as much greed as they possibly could while providing absolutely NO INNOVATION.
XRPDomains has innovation. It's UI doesn't look as nice as XNS; which is why XNS irks me so much. It's such a bad product but it looks gorgeous. Nothing worse than being deceived.
So, I stand behind the XRPDomains project and I thoroughly reject the XNS project.
XNS provides 0 service and attempts to invalidate the fundamental concept behind an NFT by forcing old-world systems in new-world technologies.
This is not compatible with the future, and therefore XNS will cease to exist unless they change course.
It has been written.
It will come to pass.
