Letters from Somewhere No.084

Ploudalmézeau (Finistère, France)

The feeling has changed. The sun shines through the breaking cloud cover. A loving warmth flows through everything around. Everywhere, life unfolds in blossoms - in bright yellow, gentle violet, radiant emerald, vibrant red, and countless shades of green. Yes, green dominates, this symbol of new beginnings. At every corner, fresh life stretches up from the earth, like a silent promise.

Perhaps it's the upcoming departure that triggers this new sensation in me. Or could it be that deep within me, a transformation has occurred? Something dormant has awakened to life, breathing and thriving. Since our first journey, I never wanted to go back. Germany seemed to me like a closed chapter, especially that area where so many of my days passed by - not always used meaningfully. But now, surprisingly, Germany opens up again as a space of possibilities. Not as a permanent home, but as the next, promising stage of my journey. I guard against excessive expectations, yet confidence flows through me that this path could prove to be right. It simply feels coherent. For too long, I buried my intuition under fears - today I listen attentively to this quiet inner voice and its wise guidance.

One morning I woke up from a special dream. We had visited a small natural idyll that was even immediately offered to us for rent. I immediately remembered a friend's house - red-painted wood in Scandinavian style, with generous windows that all revealed views of the surrounding forest. It was at a safe distance from the main road, just far enough to forget its noise. Only a narrow access road led to the property. The small garden behind the house merged seamlessly into the forest. In its seclusion, it offered the tranquility I've always dreamed of.

And now, after this dream, this vision returns - but with a crucial difference: I am no longer the same person. Today I recognize my own worth and know with certainty: I deserve to live in such a place. This realization fills me with quiet joy and carries me smiling forward.
