I thought long and hard about this switch, given I've had my old gmail account for over a decade and costs $99/year less than my this new HEY account - not to mention the non-monetary switching costs, like writing this note.
I'm a big believer in using the best tools for the job - and traditional email tools just aren't the best. I hate email, but need it to live in this world. HEY is a better tool to get the job done.
