I’ve recently published a Uber engineering blog together with my teammate that introduces an adaptive load testing framework, called Ballast. This framework has revolutionized our capacity planning and performance tuning processes. By enabling continuous load testing, we have been able to eliminate operational toil and effectively load test our service APIs without the need for test suites.
