Pixel Perfect Picks #100 - We're back!

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

After a short summer break, I'm back with a lot of picks, freshly packed. And if you pay close attention to the numbers here, you might have noticed something particularly special: Pixel Perfect Picks is celebrating its 100th edition! I've been doing this newsletter in this format for almost 2 years now, and I find it absolutely fantastic and enjoy it immensely. Thank you so much for all the support, the sharing, and every single response I receive here. Sharing is incredibly fun, but the dialogue is the best part of it all 🙌 Big Love! 🫶

Saw Something

Before I said goodbye to my vacation, I dove deep into Figma Make once again. I particularly enjoyed this session, directly from the Figma team. Right now, it really feels like a huge playground, but I can already see how the tool is increasingly integrating into my daily work routine.

Read Something

Summer is, of course, reading time. A book that I absolutely must share here is the new book by Christine Vallaure: Solo. It provides insights on how to build your own product using current tools and outlines a path to self-employment that has always fascinated me.

Heard Something

Of course, I listened to a lot of music on vacation. Somehow, I got stuck on some very nostalgic rap. This Tiny Desk concert by Wiz Khalifa was definitely a throwback for me! But I can wholeheartedly recommend it!
