Pixel Perfect Picks #104 - Walls, Walks, Pictures

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

Saw Something

Summer in Germany is unfortunately still taking its time, and I'm trying to bridge the rainy weekdays a bit with movies. Recently, I watched the film 'Wall to Wall' and found it very engaging and atmospheric. Many small plots make it definitely a perfect film for a Sunday afternoon!

Read Something

I am an absolute Stephen King fan. Recently, I was at the cinema again and saw the trailer for a new film based on the book The Long Walk. Since most Stephen King adaptations are unfortunately not that great, I grabbed the book and I am truly impressed! It doesn't explain much and jumps right into the action. I am only halfway through, but I can already give a strong recommendation!

Heard Something

I am currently trying my hand at photography and want to learn how to take better pictures. Several years ago, I had a camera, but I never really got into the hobby. This was especially true when it came to editing photos, as many of the programs seemed too complex for me. With Photomator, I now hope that things will be a little different. Let's see!
