Pixel Perfect Picks #105 - Tokio Streets, GPT5, Notion Campsite

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

Saw Something

Somehow, I've fallen into a kind of photography rabbit hole, and of course, into the corresponding YouTube algorithm. Right now, I'm totally hooked on Teo Crawford's videos, especially the ones about Tokyo. Man, I need to go back!

Read Something

Well, I believe everyone has noticed that ChatGPT 5 is now out. I played around with it over the weekend in various use cases and find it truly amazing. Finally, there is a simpler naming convention, as the previous version names really confused me.

Heard Something

Anyone who has been reading the newsletter for a while knows that I am a huge fan of Brian and his work. I found Campsite to be incredibly brilliant in its early stages, and I miss it a bit in my workflow. After all, he is now sharing his knowledge on Notion in one of their recent podcasts.
