Pixel Perfect Picks #119 - Cursor, Grug, Composer

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

Saw Something

I'm fully engaged in coding again these past few weeks, and Cursor has become my best friend. I can truly see and feel the impact these tools will have on our industry, especially for designers. If you want to get started with Cursor, I highly recommend this short video course.

Read Something

A while ago, I came across a strange post about Grug and the Grug-trained developer. Now, we have something similar for design. I still don't fully understand it, but it's an interesting read and makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Keep design simple. Period.

Heard Something

Yes, it's about AI again, and I apologize for that. I just started using the new Composer Model by Cursor, and it's incredibly fast and suitable for certain tasks. It feels like a highly ambitious intern, while models like Sonnet resemble a competent junior.

Keep Creating Awesome Stuff ✌️
