Saw Something
While browsing last week, I came across this brilliant site. It truly feels like a digital museum and a kind of time travel at the same time!
Read Something
Sometimes a design just feels right — not basic, but perfect for its purpose. Optimize for that specific case, and sometimes make it so engaging that people want to interact with it again and again. This post calls that "Juice," and I think the analogy fits perfectly. Game design, in particular, offers a lot to learn from here. Next year we should all definitely add more Juice to our designs — but only where it actually makes sense.
Heard Something
I currently have so many Christmas playlists running that I desperately need a change. Thank goodness Fred again.. has now released all his USB songs on an album and it really hits hard!
PS: This is the last edition of Pixel Perfect Picks for this year. Thanks for the support and all the tiny messages you send as replies to this newsletter. Every interaction means a lot 🫶 Have a great holiday season and a great start to 2026 (🤯). I'll be back on the 5th of January 🥳
