Saw Something
Dive Club by Ridd is probably my favorite design podcast right now. Not only because of the great conversations and really interesting guests, but also because it's so up to date and the topics are excellent. One thing I noticed, though, is that some of the latest episodes are very visually driven and thus are 10 times better on YouTube. My favorite is probably the deep dive into the creative process of MDS.
Read Something
One of my evening projects right now is to set up a little playground for prototyping and design engineering stuff. Mostly to optimize my toolchain and build my future workbench. I'm stumbling on a lot of different things like skills for Claude, contexts, and other stuff. For example, Floatprompt or this handy little thing that builds on top principles from some designers.
Heard Something
Funny thing I noticed in January: I'm listening to fewer and fewer podcasts and more audiobooks. Probably the AI slob doesn't stop at podcasts either. Right now I'm listening to The Will of the Many, which I already recommended in one of the previous editions of the newsletter. Audible has some great deals at the start of the new year. So if you're looking for something good to listen to while on the treadmill, check this out!
