Pixel Perfect Picks #128 - AI hacking, Chronicles, Variant(s)

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

Saw Something

On Friday afternoon, this little piece landed in my inbox, and it has quickly become my top priority in my "watch this" pile. I'm only a few minutes in, but MDS sharing his raw and unedited workflow for parts of this website is absolutely fantastic!

Read Something

After some years, I found my way back to World of Warcraft. I'm excited about the next expansion and the upcoming gameplay changes, but what fascinates me the most is the lore. I'm currently catching up on various aspects and came across the Chronicles book, which sounds absolutely amazing. I've only read a small excerpt so far, but it will soon find a place on my bookshelf!

Heard Something

If you are interested in design on Twitter, you have likely heard about Variant. This tool makes designing feel like browsing. While I don't want a world where designing resembles browsing, I believe tools like this can be excellent for sparking ideas. Ultimately, it depends on how we use these tools.
