Pixel Perfect Picks #129 - His & Hers, Thinking, Cosmos

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

Saw Something

On rainy or extremely foggy weekends, it's definitely time for some Netflix. One short series I recently enjoyed was His & Hers. It's a thriller with good twists and a healthy amount of tension.

Read Something

We have all received and probably sent that message: "What do you think?" I'm somewhat torn between whether it's beneficial to open up that feedback loop and keep it broad, or if this question is simply a way to let others do the thinking for you. If you lean more towards the second option, this post is definitely for you. I really enjoyed reading this and will think twice before writing "What do you think?" in a text input.

Heard Something

Remember the days when designers simply saved things on Pinterest? Those were the good old days. Now, a new player has entered the scene called Cosmos. It's much more design-oriented than Pinterest, and I'm starting to really like it. I especially appreciate that you can save almost anything to Cosmos and create your own little timeline of inspiration.
