Saw Something
Okay, this one is a little different because it's something I made myself. I've been rebuilding my personal website and honestly I'm really, really excited about where it's going. marvinmessenzehl.com is still very much a work in progress, but the blog and the TIL section are already live and I plan to keep filling both with a ton of updates going forward. Building your own corner of the internet is deeply underrated. More to come.
Read Something
Christopher Butler wrote something this week that I keep coming back to. The argument is simple but hits hard: craft isn't about what tools you use, it's a mindset of disciplined iteration and the real threat of AI isn't that it can't do the work, it's that it makes it way too easy to skip the hard parts entirely. Craft is Untouchable. Short read. Worth your time.
Heard Something
April 30 cannot come soon enough. Saros, Housemarque's follow-up to Returnal, is almost here and if you want to know exactly what you're in for, GameSpot did a full hands-on breakdown with commentary covering the opening area, the shield mechanics, weapons, the eclipse, and a boss fight. Watch it here. I've watched it twice. The bullet ballet is real and I'm very ready.
