I went pretty deep into the world of harness and loop engineering this week and I'm not coming back. Three things that belong together: Lilian Weng's post on Harness Engineering for Self-Improvement is the most technically rigorous piece I've read on why the system around a model matters as much as the model itself. Then Loop Engineering for Beginners by How I AI is a genuinely accessible intro to getting agents to run themselves autonomously. And How to Build a Custom AI Harness with Claude SDK is the most practical of the three, showing exactly how to constrain an agent to a specific, repetitive workflow so it actually does what you want. All three together changed how I'm thinking about building with AI. Good rabbit hole for the weekend.

I started reading Co-Intelligence by Ethan Mollick this week and I'm already really into it. Mollick writes about AI the way someone does when they've thought carefully and without agenda, not to hype it, not to fear-monger, but to actually understand what it means to work alongside something that thinks differently than you do. It's one of those books where you keep stopping to think rather than just to absorb. If you've been looking for a thoughtful entry point into the bigger picture of where all this is going, this is a good one. Highly recommend picking it up.

Gawx Art made a beautiful deep-dive on Fred again.. covering how he grew from childhood musical training into one of the most interesting electronic artists around right now. The USB tour finale in Mexico City, the custom visuals, the live collaborations... If you're already a fan it's deeply satisfying, and if you're not yet, this is a great place to start.
