Pixel Perfect Picks #20 - Orchestra Sites, Arc Max, Tailwind Tipps

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

Heard Something

My good friend Simon (who is also a Memorisely teacher) recently showed me a design project he was working on. I was already incredibly fascinated by the level of detail he was working with and how brilliant the overall story of the site was. Now the site is live, and I would say it's more than successful! This is the new online home of the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana.

Read Something

As you probably know, I'm a huge fan of the Arc Browser. Last week, some new features were announced for it, which of course involve AI. What I find incredibly exciting is the 5 Second Preview. Not only is the design and interaction super smooth, but the functionality is also fantastic. This allows me to quickly read a preview of a website in just 5 seconds before clicking on the link!

Saw Something

As a huge fan of Tailwind, I'm always on the lookout for new practical tips. One of my best sources for this is Sam Selikoff. These 6 new tips were sometimes completely new to me and are true game-changers!

Until next time. Keep creating awesome stuff ✌️

About Marvin Messenzehl

I love working in the realm between design and code. Some things that make me excited are CSS, Interaction design, Javascript, and making interfaces feel fun and human.

Currently, I'm designing & building interfaces at DAYY.  Besides that, I'm teaching UX and UI design at Memorisely.
