Pixel Perfect Picks #28 - Huberman, Power Broker, Bezier Curves

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

Heard Something

On the weekend, during my long run, I listened to the newest episode of The Tim Ferriss Show (which is technically an episode from July 2021) with Dr. Andrew Huberman. And boy, this man is smart. Every 10 minutes, I had to stop and think, "Oh wow, I have to write that down." My key takeaway: Fix your body to fix your mind!

Read Something

Not something I have read in the last week, but definitely something I'm going to read over the next year! I've listened to the latest episode of 99% Invisible (my favorite podcast, to be honest) and it's about a big and epic book: The Power Broker. With nearly 1200 pages, it's a bit daunting to even start reading it. But starting on January 19, the 99% community reads it together. I'm definitely in! What about you?

Saw Something

You know what a big mystery is for me in design? Bézier curves. Probably I'm not the only one, but with this amazing and interactive article, it finally made sense.

Until next time. Keep creating awesome stuff ✌️
