Pixel Perfect Picks #45 - Orange Blossoms, Misery, Figma's Framework

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

Heard Something

Whenever the temperatures rise a little in spring and the days get longer, the music I listen to changes suddenly. I think it's just great that I've been so active and "slowly" listening to music again in the last few months, actively looking for new songs. This weekend, I probably found my new spring soundtrack: Orange Blossoms by GoldFord.

Read Something

I don't know when I last read my last Stephen King book, but I do know that his books have always captivated me and I think they are fantastic. I believe I have read 'It' three times so far and I always discover new things. This time, I also found an old King classic and completely lost myself in it. 'Misery'. A story without many places, without the unknown spooky, but with real horror.

Saw Something

Well, where should I start? Last week was the Figma Framework. A small but fine online session with a focus on design systems. It was also announced that there are now variables for text styles. And much more.

Until next time. Keep creating awesome stuff ✌️
