Pixel Perfect Picks #96 - Post Config Week

Hey there 👋

Welcome to this installment of Pixel Perfect Picks. Here I'm sharing something that I heard, read, and saw. You can subscribe to this newsletter here. I'm additionally publishing a more extended essay about software development, design, and freelancing every month.

Saw Something

I believe I saw one of my annual highlights last week. My first Config in person! Figma's design conference made its way to London, and there was a day full of interesting and great talks, discussions, and insights into new features, tools, and workflows. I already know that I will attend the next Config in person again!

Read Something

As you surely know, I am a huge fan of The Browser Company and their previous project, the Arc Browser. This browser accompanies me every day, and I absolutely love the little design details it has. Unfortunately, it has become a bit quiet around this browser, but I am even more excited about the new browser, Dia. The team has already released a few updates that definitely make me eager for more!

Heard Something

During the conference, I listened to a presentation with great fascination: Timothy from Akuko Labs talked about one of his side projects: mechanical keyboards. Since I recently got infected with the hobby myself, I was absolutely thrilled, and yes, I definitely need one of those amazing keycap sets now!
