Tim Munyon led this morning’s Bible Study. We wrapped up Part 2 of Tom’s lesson on “Be Filled with the Spirit”. Afterwards, Charles and I met for breakfast at First Watch. This was after getting our signals crossed last week. I’d taken Ella to school and expected to meet Charles at Dunkin, but instead he’d thought we were still meeting at First Watch.

During this morning’s breakfast, Charles told me about his boss and another manager at work both getting Tesla Model 3s. In fact, Eddie had gotten one with the performance trim package.

After a busy workday, I took off a little after four for a walk/run. On my way out, I saw that the mail had been delivered to our front doorstep. I brought it in and found I’d received my new license tag for my Altima. I’ve been a big fan of our new Tennessee tags. I love the blue with the white letters. So I put it on my car before heading out.

I ended up taking a long walk by heading out of the neighborhood and all the way down Millstone Lane. I ran enough that my per mile pace was 12:47. I’ve been slowly adding in spurts of jogging/running to my walks this week. It’s the first time I’ve done so since my right hip started feeling funny back in December. So far, it has been responding well. I think my visits to Chad Jacobs Chiropractic have been helping.

Beth fixed chili for tonight’s dinner. I ate quick and then got a shower as I was driving Ella to go to youth group at Sarah’s church. However about the time we were to get in the car, Ella got a text from Sarah saying her mother had other plans for her this evening. Ella came back inside and read a book. I decided to read too as I recently started CS Lewis’s Perlandria. Afterwards I got the gumption to install the new dinning room light Beth had ordered. While I did this, Ella painted a picture.

Beth was excited to see my work when she got home. I was just about ready to hang the light. Beth helped me do that and also held the fixture while I worked on the electrical wiring. I got finished a little after nine. Then I cleaned my mess so I could appreciate the new fixture.
