Poem #15

Indecision

You know that feeling you get
When you sit down to do something
But you can't think of something to do?

I'm not talking about forgetting
What you were just about to do
(Though that is also annoying)

I'm talking about good-ol' indecision
Where nothing seems appealing, yet you
Want to find something
Anything

Maybe it's related to the way
I perceive the world
But I have a hard time sticking with projects
To completion
Because after a while
The project just doesn't seem appealing
And when I sit down to do it
I have to almost drag my stubborn legs
Over the finish line (or close to it)

For once in my life
I'd like to find something
That just keeps me wanting to come back for more
And manages to keep my attention long enough
For the project to keep being

Fun
