Whether you love her or hate her, Greta Thunberg has done an incredible job of raising awareness of climate crisis across people young and old. And it's working. Increased awareness of Thunberg correlates to an increased likelihood of activism.
Influencers for a better world will continue to come in all different sorts. For example, star football player Cristiano Ronaldo. As he arrived for a recent press conference, he removed two bottles of (sponsored) Coca-Cola from the desk in front of him, out of camera shot. He then lifted a bottle of water and said "drink water".
The result was a drop of $4 billion or 1.6% in the share price of Coca-Cola.
He's 36 years old, a health fanatic, football star and has 300 millions followers on his instagram. I bet very few of those followers hold stocks and shares of Coca-Cola - but the sentiment rippled through anyway.

I'm pretty certain that those 300 million followers are unlikely to drink Coca-Cola products any time soon, and certainly won't be buying their stocks in the future. How many more of these type of influencers will it take to give companies like Coca-Cola enough of a limited future perspective to transform?
Edit: And it seems that just a day later, midfielder for France, Paul Pogba also took objection to sponsored drink. He removed a bottle of Heineken 0.0 beer from the desk he was sat at for an interview.
