Writers block isn't a thing
I have enough topics to write about
I'm not scared to publish
I wasn't too busy either - but still

I just couldn't be bothered
I promised thirty articles
To make your business better
So I thought a little longer - but still

Skipping a day would be easy
Just get back on track tomorrow
Add an extra day on the end
Would you even have noticed - but still

There must be a lesson we could learn
From this essay that nearly wasn't
If I just wrote it anyway
By being anything - but still

So if we're to make better impact
We need to practise our skills
Probably starting with honesty
Empathy, compassion and poetry too.
