F1 and Streamlit

Last night, I got really excited about the possibilities of Streamlit and put together a small Streamlit application to show F1 season progression. I noticed that it was difficult to track the progress of a season. Unlike the NBA for example, F1 doesn't have a playoff format so the progress of the season from race to race is how the story of a season gets told versus a playoff bracket in other sports.

F1 Standings is a small Streamlit site to help track any F1 season. Below are some iconic F1 moments in charts.

#1: What is shaping up to be an epic battle between Max and Lewis this season

#2: 2016 epic Rosberg v. Hamilton and the sheer dominance of Mercedes

#3: Some of the epic Prost/Senna battles of the late 1980s/early 1990s

The crash at Suzuka in 1989 that decided the title for Prost

The possibilities are endless and I have been having a lot of fun traveling through F1 history in charts!

Hope you all have fun with this like me.
