Options to teach/get kids to think about critical thinking

  1. Encourage children to ask questions and seek answers.
  2. Teach children to analyze and evaluate information.
  3. Help children learn to identify bias and propaganda.
  4. Teach children to identify assumptions and evaluate their accuracy.
  5. Encourage children to consider multiple perspectives.
  6. Teach children to distinguish between fact and opinion.
  7. Provide opportunities for children to make and test hypotheses.
  8. Encourage children to reflect on their own thinking and learning process.
  9. Teach children to use logic and reason in problem-solving.
  10. Help children learn to draw evidence-based conclusions.
