OFF G is a fresh start up, a Real Estate & Property Development company aiming to transform the way we live.

Like a New Moon, preceded by heaviness but bringing Transformation and Rebirth.

 

For us Nature comes first, the buildings second. Normally developers think density, numbers, and cram as many  boxes in the smallest space possible. For us, similar to this beautiful image from Dan Pearson (great Nature Artist by the way), the trees are not affected and the path in the middle is shaped to reflect the existing natural environment. First we always develop designs with Nature Artists or Landscape Architects, so that Nature is the focus, then we marry their designs to the built environment, looking for only the buildings that can match perfectly the Nature of the site.

Nature's Art is how we allow Nature's flair, beauty, inspiration, joy, define and transform the buildings, any buildings. It is through colour, smell, the timeless design of Nature that we can put forward a new way of living, allowing us to reconnect with ourselves first, our inner Soul, rediscovering our true selves and allowing Love for ourselves first and then for all other living beings.

The Energy element is key to all this, but it is only a means to an end. The Male tech talk is second to the Female  holism of Nature, our ultimate end destination. Right now in 2022, the Off Grid philosophy and technology allows us to live close and closer to Nature anywhere, severing the cords with the feeds from the various grids, maintaining luxury, whilst allowing a new way of living, which is about lowering some of our standards of consumption, but also allowing us to live independently and on our own feet, away from wars, pandemics, mental health and physical health issues, which are all around us. If there is one bit of inspiration that Ukraine has taught me, it is to value and transform for the better the most precious asset we have: our Freedom. It is our duty to create an even better world than we have in the free world. We are at war, we are in the grip of many crises, we are surrounded by noise, from social media to fake aspirations: real freedom is just around the corner.

This is the invention of hot water, nothing new under the sun, millions are embracing a new way of living and feeling around the world, closer to Nature. Why are we not developing with this in mind? Hot water, simple and obvious, stating the bare obvious here.

The problems are for me very much to do with the soulless boxes being built everywhere, to maximise returns and cram as many souls as possible in soul destroying containers, all around the world. People don't have any other options, but we need to provide new opportunities for everyone of us to rediscover our inner Soul and the soul of Life. We are all unique inside and outside, no one is exactly like us anywhere in the world. Yet we are told to be like others and to live in the same typologies of built environment. Enough of this, time to rediscover the unique Star we have inside and make it shine, with Nature, in Nature, anywhere, in comfort and beauty, protecting us and those we love. The way we build and live can shape our Earth and preserve it for all of us, now and in the future and action on this needs to be immediate to safeguard Nature, the Nature we live in and that allows us to live. Off G is not just about houses, it is very much about any Places of Life, Life Spaces, from home to work, from fun to rest, from music to silence.

We believe in Keeping It Super Simple like our kids and their amazingly honest and bright ways of feeling life in its simplest forms. Why complicating Construction and Development when actually it can be very simple. We need to inspire ourselves and others, and we need to use all the great technologies mankind has built to date to help us work efficiently and seamlessly, without faff and time/energy wasting. The best ideas always come when we are not at work, when we are doing very random and habitual things, or when we are in Nature, letting go of pressures and constraints.

There are some amazing off the shelf House Products out there, yes Houses that are Products, which, after years of Research & Development are very much plug and play items. They come in various shapes and sizes, some honest and simple, some beautiful and sophisticated. These amazing products allow Off G to focus on Nature first, and plug&play the built environment in the most sensitive ways. These homes, similar to the amazing Wunderhaus, allow part Off Grid living, a way of being energy positive and carbon negative. We are at the start of a journey and a process, but we must embark on it. We are in a cul de sac when it comes to resolving the energy crisis, the housing crisis, the health crisis. Whilst we cannot yet live fully off grid in full comfort right now in 2022, we surely can use tried and tested tech that allows this transition to start and develop, with fully Off Grid living not very far in the horizon.

Off G is an enabler, a transformer, a believer, a doer and has compassion not competition towards others. We are ripple creators and we love calm, untouched waters with simplicity, truthfulness, exploration ahead of us.
