The main reason to edit a customer is often to update the notes section with the latest information or to record important details. Editing notes should be quick and easy, without requiring you to fill out the entire customer edit form.
Previously, you had to use the full edit customer form to modify notes, which also included fields for name, email, phone, birthday, and notes. This process was not ideal, since updating customer notes is likely the most frequent change you make to remember important information.
Now, you can click the edit button next to the customer notes section to replace the notes with a textarea field. This allows you to quickly update and save only the notes. The improved process makes it easier and more convenient to keep customer information up to date.
