Dear Sir Tim Berners-Lee,

I want to say something that is too often said too late - thank you.

What began as a project for scientists and educators to share information grew into something far greater: the World Wide Web. Because of your vision, billions of us can connect, learn, create, share, earn, etc... Personally, it has been one of the most impactful inventions in my life and probably for many others too. 

You are one of the most undervalued people of our generation. In a world that often celebrates the wrong heroes, you deserve far more credit. Your work has changed humanity forever.

I don’t want to wait until the day the world looks back and finally realizes what you have given us. I want to say it now, while you are alive - long live you, Sir Tim. Thank you for giving the WWW to the world.
