Lockdown

In about a week, we will hit the one year mark since Covid shut down our lives. One year of lockdowns, working from home. One year of little to no human contact. One year of no hugs, no dinners with friends, zoom chats, of walking being one of my only sources of exercise.

In a very big way, it's been a year of no theatre. Not as an audience member, not as production staff, not as an actor. No Friday night bar nights at Orpheus house.

It has led to new experiences mind you. Virtual choirs are all the rage now. I have joined many projects, and participated in many songs. It has helped a lot, to be able to perform, and express.

I bought a bike, which due to the popularity of biking was back ordered and only arrived mid-winter. It sits brimming with potential on the other side of the room, and I look forward to spring opening up the chance to use it.
