Road bike for the city and longer rides - Bike build

I decided to have less bikes. I'm replacing a road carbon frame bike and a city single speed bike with one more versatile road bike. It would be less sport oriented and cheaper than the carbon one and more versatile than the single speed. And now I rarely do longer rides on the road.

  • I had a few parts for a single speed bike which I've finally never built, I bought a ready one
  • bullhorn handlebar which I like much
  • bought a new but cheap raw frame
  • I got wheels for free from a work mate
  • continental contact speed tires (28C) - resistant, great for road, often the choice of bike messengers
  • first version will be a single speed with a chain tensioner but it will become 1x11 or 1x10 very soon
  • got a cheap and used carbon fork

Update

I upgraded the bike.
It got my old Sram NX and a new Shimano GRX crank.
I was not able to mount the shifter on this handlebar so I got it mounted as on slopeduro bikes :) crazy idea for a road bike. Old road bikes had it also mounted on the frame but a little bit higher.
