So we took a recovery day yesterday to focus on Ariane’s recovery and work on the feeding of 1 baby, so we would be ready for 2 when we need to be.
It would appear as though that day will be tomorrow (Monday). Enzo continues to improve and do well. He’s eating on his own (well not like, with a knife and fork, but without a tube). In fact the tube is out, and he’s no longer in the incubator. He’s just chilling in a little bassinet!
He wakes to eat when he’s hungry and is doing all the things he should be doing!! As long as there are no more “events” over the next 24 hours they feel like he’s ready to go home! Yay!
So good news all around and hopefully we’re all home together by tomorrow afternoon.
We’re hanging out with him at the NICU today so I’ll be sure to post more pictures.
