Wee note to subscribers here, after going Full Circle on Bitcoin Studios, I started a Substack for it.

Hosting the main blog on Substack is a tad hypocritical since I've always persuaded clients, mentees, and friends to host their blog on their own domain. However, Substack has continued to impress me with:
- It's continued commitment to freedom of the press (without which, democracy is just a charade) and continues to provide a home and distribution platform to publications that, on their own, can be more easily targeted by politically motivated takedowns.
- It has kept the interface and writing experience simple, to minimise the friction of starting your own blog (although if you're a HEY user, it's even easier to send an email to world).
- You can export subscribers in case you want to leave for a new platform (like Ghost).
- I initially found Tangle on Substack (right vs. left commentary on news stories) before they moved over to Ghost and it seemed seamless from a reader perspective.
- You can connect your own domain, which means search rankings migrate with you. Though you give up the recommendations algorithm, so only do this once you've reached a critical mass of subscribers.
Anyway, I'll still be posting here, but if you care anything about innovation, creativity, wealth, and health (Bitcoin businesses express them all) you might also want to subscribe to the Substack.
Cheers,
Robbie
P.S.
The cynical reader may ask why someone who resides for most of the year in a dictatorship cares anything for democracy. While a fair observation (the two systems are structurally different) choosing to live in Dubai is my own form expression. Not to mention the 8 principals of Dubai (see below, in particular 3 & 8) being a breath of fresh air after watching Europe's trajectory over the last fifteen years.
In fact, voting with your feet may be the most potent form of democracy yet. See: https://thenetworkstate.com/
