It is one of those concepts that can only be understood through experience:
Every day, our lives unfold in ways we can't fully predict, much like a flower gradually blooming. You are currently at a stage where you have not fully blossomed. Each day, all you can see is a new petal. You cannot decide the color or shape of this new petal. All you have control over is whether you will unfold the new petal or not.
That’s all that matters in life. Each of us is at different stages of unfolding our lives. Only those who strive every moment will fully blossom. Others, who stop striving because they dislike the shape of an unfolded petal, will never get to see the beauty of the next petal—the beauty of their lives fully blossomed.
In the end, at the fully blossomed stage, we’ll all be different. We’ll be beautiful.
