The reason you stay stuck in that emotion is because you keep revisiting that same moment. But what makes you go back to it over and over again? The core to that is FEAR.
Fear of guilt. Fear of regret. Fear of facing the consequences of what has already happened.
Anything that creates fear gets permission to stay stuck in your head.
Your mind starts calculating and creating different versions of reality—ones that could have been possible if you had done something differently.
You want to change your present reality by wishing to change the past. But that’s not possible, is it?
You don’t realise but the only way out is forward.
Even if you could have done something differently, you cannot do it now. You cannot change it now. Things were meant to be this way. So, learn from it and let go. Don’t let it hold you back.
Real progress only happens by taking action. Taking action in the present, not by dwelling in your imagination.
So, once you’re out of this situation, you’ll be glad you went through all these troubles. Trust me. You’ll realize how much you’ve learned and grown. So, get up. Start taking action. Make sure you get through this.
